# g3ROG v2.0.0 - G3ROG-DARK Dossier

This release turns the repo from a single `g3ROG-actual` audit snapshot into the broader **g3ROG build dossier**.

## Highlights

- Promotes **G3ROG-DARK** as the current flagship machine
- Preserves **g3ROG-actual** as the historical pre-rebuild snapshot
- Adds a placeholder home for the son's hand-me-down rebuild
- Adds a new machine-based docs structure under `docs/machines/`
- Adds share-safe and detailed specs for G3ROG-DARK in markdown and HTML
- Adds fresh G3ROG-DARK chassis photos, a README banner, and a social preview card

## Repo Improvements

- Root README is now a multi-machine landing page
- `docs/LATEST.md` points to G3ROG-DARK as the current published snapshot
- `docs/GALLERY.md` now separates current G3ROG-DARK visuals from historical g3ROG-actual artifacts
- Validation checks the new machine pages, local links, HTML exports, banner, social card, and gallery photos
- Detailed HTML export was sanitized to remove local IP and private domain details

## Rename Note

The repo content is prepared for the intended GitHub rename from `ThatGuySM/g3ROG-actual` to `ThatGuySM/g3ROG`. GitHub will redirect old links after the rename.
